Greetings in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ!
I have been the
pastor at Clove Valley Alliance Church since August of 2002. I share
the ministry here with my wife, Susie, my son,
Nathanael, my daughter,
Kedrah, and my mother, Mary Jane. We live in the parsonage, which
is located on the same property as the church.
Being a pastor is a
new role for me. Until 2002, I worked as a
research engineer and engineering adjunct faculty at
Penn State University. God has gifted me primarily in teaching, preaching, and counseling.
I have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the
University of Florida, a Master of Divinity from
Columbia International University, and a Master of Engineering in
Acoustics from Penn State University. For additional information about my past
activities, please see my ministry resume and my
engineering resume.
Personally, I enjoy several sports, particularly racquetball and pool (currently rated a
6 in
APA 8-ball), and play a little guitar (a hacker). But my first love is the study of the Bible.
Before I became a pastor, I had been devoting myself to Bible study and teaching as a lay person for twenty
years.
We at Clove Valley Alliance Church are committed to:
- Knowing Jesus Christ and making Him known in our community
and around the world.
- The equipping of each believer for the ministry to which
God has particularly called her or him.
- Ministering to the felt and real needs of our community in
the name of Jesus Christ.
- Helping parents train and equip their children to live in a
difficult world.
If these commitments resonate with yours, we would be delighted to
join with you as you seek to fulfill them!
